Here is the continuation of my top 10 games of all time. Enjoy!
5. Animal Crossing New Leaf

This is a game that dominated my friend group in high school. We would bring our 3DS to school and play during lunch, before school, after school, and during a free period. Countless visits to each others towns involved some of my friends being trolls and digging holes in my town, taking my fruit and buying things before ditching my town.
Some of my friends who played more than others would show off their progress with stores, houses, fruits, and more. These friends were also kind enough to hand out extra bells to others because they had so many left over. I remember one of my friends giving me about 50,000 bells no problem and I realized I had to step my game up. This game definitely relaxes me the most out of any game and I truly hope that an Animal Crossing is coming to the Nintendo Switch soon.
4. Bioshock

The first and only horror game that I have been able to play through the whole way without getting very scared. The atmosphere of this game is unlike any other game that I have played. The storyline is so incredible and unique and I was on my toes the entire time. This game is set in 1960 and the music, propaganda, and characters really capture this time period. This game is extremely unique and I went into it knowing next to nothing about the game. I feel like this is the best way to experience the game because of all the surprises that happen within the first 15 minutes of the game.
3. Tales of Symphonia

My favorite Tales and GameCube game of all time. I also bought this game again for the remastered addition on PS3. I have played this game through multiple times with at least 50 hour play throughs each time. The main cast of characters are all so different from one another but also not overwhelmingly so.
The gameplay in this game is stellar and the music has one of my favorite soundtracks of all time. The story for this game is incredible. I cried and laughed throughout this game because the storyline goes from humorous and motivational to heart breaking within minutes. There is also an OVA for this game that is absolutely incredible. The OVA has an amazing soundtrack as well and tells the story in a different way than the game. The OVA is like an extra part of this game that enthralls the players in a different and emotional way.
2. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

It was a close battle to decide which game was number one but I still have so much love for this game. For the past few years I've felt that the gaming world has been missing something. This franchise is my favorite in the gaming world and I knew that when this game would come out it would be like a void was filled finally.
An open world Zelda game with voice acting caused me to be a bit sceptic at first. I really enjoy the absence of dialogue in Zelda games and I never felt like it was missing. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked the voice acting in these games. I also really enjoyed the later option of having Japanese voice with English subtitles. Let's be real we all know English dub is not the best.
An open world Zelda is so incredible and it really feels like I'm on an adventure every time I boot up the game. Even though I have complete the story and DLC I still feel like I need to do more. The map is huge and there is always more to find. I feel like every time I play I find something new and it excites me to keep playing this game.
1. The Last of Us

This game...I have no words. This game evoked so many different emotions from me that I never knew I had when playing a video game. This game truly came out during a time where I was sick of zombie games. I groaned and rolled my eyes when I heard this was coming...but then I watched the first ever trailer. I was hooked. Two years later this game was in my hands on release day.
This game is more than just an action game killing zombies and humans that no longer have morals after 20 years in the apocalypse. This game is cinematic in it's story, the actors, the emotion. Every cutscene felt like a movie in the most natural way. I typically dislike longer cutscenes but these were just so natural and raw with emotion I couldn't help but want them to be longer.
I'm already counting down the long days until the sequel is released. There have been two trailers released within the past year or so but they really haven't given any of the story away. Fans are left to speculate but you can bet this game will be in my hand on release day just like the first game.
