I am a fan of so many games that when I am asked my top 5 or even top 10, it is never a quick answer. Also knowing someone's top 10 can also give a better insight on someone's taste in games and knowing more about the gamer themselves. To be honest this list may change again in a few month but for the time being, enjoy!

10. Tales of the Abyss

This game is one of the main reasons as the why I got a PS2. The story of this game is incredible. There is romance, drama, twists and turns, comedy and tragedy incorporated into this game and the characters. I also re-purchased the game for the 3DS and I love being able to take this amazing JRPG on the road with me.

The controls are extremely fluid and, in my opinion, the best of all the Tales games that I have played. I especially enjoy all of the artes and Mystic Artes that each character has. It's extremely easy to switch from a regular attack to an arte as opposed to the more current games where I struggle with this.

9. Batman: Arkham City

This iconic game truly embodies everything I would want in a super hero game. The story was incredible as well as the DC characters and their roles in the story. The most memorable point of this game for me is the gameplay. It is the most fluid and natural combat gameplay I have experienced. Assassin's Creed started this style of fighting but Arkham City perfected it in ways I never imagined.

Being able to fly around Arkham City felt very natural and fluid as well. The transition from scaling a building to flying was one of the most enjoyable moments for me.

8. Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

A game from Studio Ghibli is something that is from my wildest dreams. I love every movie from this studio and this game carried on that classic and nostalgic Ghibli feel that the movies have. The music was really the selling point in this game for me besides the storyline. I wasn't the biggest fan of the battle system but I really enjoyed the game overall.

I hope that the battle system changes a bit because I felt a bit taken out of the story due to the battle system at times. I will definitely try to play this game through again before the sequel comes out.

7. Animal Crossing

The original Animal Crossing is an incredible game that now has me hooked on the franchise. I always remember this game being the one that I rented the most from Blockbuster. Playing this game on a rainy day off from school immersed me into the world even more than before.

The relaxing atmosphere, unique villagers, decorating my house, buying clothes, and participating in different events is a fond memory for me growing up. I have found it difficult to find a copy of this game but I fully intend on not giving up on this search.

6. Pokemon Crystal

My introduction into the gaming world definitely deserves a spot on this list. This game has my second favorite starters but is my favorite Pokemon generation. Johto region was my first region and still to this day has my favorite Pokemon, Phanpy.

The gym leaders and Elite Four are definitely my favorite amongst all of the games. This game was very difficult for me as a child so I decided to download it onto the 3DS and will give it another go and hopefully it won't be too difficult this time!
